Amoxicillin is indicated in the treatment and prevention of various bacterial infections. A broad-spectrum antibiotic. Can treat wounds, skin infections, tooth abscesses, and bladder infections. This is a safe and effective antibiotic. Not effective against infections caused by viruses or parasites. Drug Side Effects: Adverse effects with penicillins are usually not serious and have a relatively low frequency of occurrence. It may cause rashes, fever and mild gastro-intestinal discomfort.
